Tammy Hoffman, RN

Tammy founded the research department at Carolina Heart Specialists in 2005, and has provided care for cardiac patients for more than a decade. She received an associate degree in Nursing from Carolinas’ College of Health Sciences, and is currently completing certification as a Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Crystal Byers, RN

A graduate of Gaston College School of Nursing, Crystal comes to Carolina Heart Specialists after working as a staff nurse at Gaston Memorial Hospital. In her role as Nurse Coordinator for Cardiovascular Studies, she is responsible for contracts negotiation and patient follow-up among other clinical duties.

Barbie Rosen

Barbie earned her nursing assistant certification from Gaston College and has worked in the healthcare field for more than a decade.
